Community & events

You can trace the history of Toowoomba and the Darling Downs region from the plaques in our gardens. Many of the people who rest here are still remembered by the local community today.

A feature of our plaques is the extensive use of picture-style designs to represent your loved one’s employment, armed service, nationality, denomination, club membership, sporting interest, or favourite pastime.

Upcoming events

Mother's and Father's Day

Information about upcoming Mother's Day and Father's Day events will be provided closer to the date.

Infants & Children Memorial Services

The “Garden of Angels” is an area designed and dedicated to the memory of children up to five years of age. We have created specially-designed plaques to act as permanent reminders of these short but beautiful lives. You can order plaques for the Rock of Remembrance from our office.

Three times a year, we hold a moving memorial services at our Rock of Remembrance to commemorate pre-term babies. The service acknowledges and remembers these little ones, who were all loved and wanted by their families and friends.

During the services of prayer and music we will release doves or butterflies as a symbol of our love for these children.

Service Wall Ceremony

To honour those who have served their country, we unveil plaques in a moving service on a Sunday prior to Anzac Day each year. Plaques are available for service men or women, on which we can display their service badge, rank and serial number.

We are happy to conduct tours of our crematorium and grounds for groups or individuals who want to view our facilities.
