Remembering special people at special times

Mother's and Father's Day

We hold annual Mother’s and Father’s Day services in our chapel. The non-denominational ceremony celebrates and remembers these special people in our lives who are no longer with us at these important times.

Everyone is welcome to visit and an afternoon tea is provided at the conclusion of each service.

The Garden of Remembrance prides itself on its sensitivity to the needs of families. We have developed special areas for infants that give you options to create permanent reminders of this special life.

The “Garden of Angels” is an area designed and dedicated to the memory of children up to five years of age. We have created specially-designed plaques to act as permanent reminders of these short but beautiful lives.

Three times a year, we hold a moving memorial services at our Rock of Remembrance to commemorate pre-term babies. The service acknowledges and remembers these little ones, who were all loved and wanted by their families and friends.

During the services of prayer and music we release balloons with messages of love and hope as a symbol of our love for these children. You can order plaques for the Rock of Remembrance from our office.

Each Christmas we also hold an annual Christmas tree decorating ceremony, where we remember our little ones with songs and prayers. Families and friends have the opportunity to place a Christmas decoration on the infants’ Christmas tree.

Service Wall Ceremony

To honour those who have served their country, we unveil plaques in a moving service on a Sunday prior to Anzac Day each year. Plaques are available for service men or women, on which we can display their service badge, rank and serial number.

We are happy to conduct tours of our crematorium and grounds for groups or individuals who want to view our facilities. To book a tour, call us on (07) 4635 4866 or contact us online:
