Toowoomba Garden of Remembrance

Our expansive lawn cemetery and grounds contribute to Toowoomba’s reputation as The Garden City. Each year in September, we celebrate Toowoomba’s Australian Carnival of Flowers when the flowers in the city’s 150 public parks bloom in a burst of colour.

Jacaranda, camphor laurel and flame trees flourish along pathways. Our tranquil lakes provide a calm oasis that attracts a variety of local wildlife, and native and introduced floral species create an eye-catching palate that gets better with every year.

Toowoomba Garden of Remembrance is located on 1001 Ruthven Street, Toowoomba, QLD 4350.

Our facilities include an on-site tea room and chapel with seating for 100 people.
